It has to be able to fit absolutely everything. This cute cloud one is both stylish and has a ton of storage space to fit all of your essentials.

2. A CUTE FLEECE JACKET

PICU units are COLD AF. A girl has to keep warm. I have seen some cute fleece jackets that come in all sorts of colors and styles.

3. COMFY SNEAKER SHOES

Some people like to wear crocs, others like to wear cute clogs. But I prefer sneakers anyday. They allow you to keep up with the PICUs rapid pace. Sometimes there really isnt any time for sitting around.

4. CALCULATOR… BUT MAKE IT CUTE

Yes, you have to carry one of those around. All medications and liquids must be calculated for every child accordng to their age and weight. And now you can do so with this pretty calculator, you’re welcome 🙂

5. PEN LIGHT

These are essential if you have any trauma patients. We must check their pupils regularly as any changes in size can indicate something is wrong inside their head.

6. CLIPBOARD WITH STORAGE

These are popular in my hospital as we can carry our notes, lab results, consults with subspecialties before putting them in each patient’s record.

7. COFFEE TUMBLER MUG

Whether you prefer coffee or tea, these tumbler mugs will keep your hot drink deliciously warm, even when you forget to drink it because you’re too busy saving lives.

8. BLUE LIGHT GLASSES

Perfect for staring at the screen writing your patient notes, researching or checking all your patient’s labs and images. I recomemend these ones.

9. MDF STHETHOSCOPE

Last but not least. A girl needs a cute sthethoscope. I love this one from MDF instrumentals as it is both cute amd affordable. It comes in all sorts of colors.
